Man charged with DWI

According to police reports on Friday, July 15, at 2:23 p.m., officers assigned to the Eagle Pass Police Department Patrol Division responded to a three-car motor vehicle accident reported within the 2400 block of Del Rio Boulevard.
Investigating officers arrived and medical attention was provided via Eagle Pass Fire and EMS who transported parties involved to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained. Upon speaking with the driver of one of the vehicles involved, investigating officers noticed the driver to display signs of intoxication. Three standardized field sobriety tests were conducted and 53-year-old Daniel S. Morales was detained for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
A breathalyzer exam was later voluntarily conducted which revealed Morales to be four times over the legal limit allowed by law. Morales was later presented before a magistrate where he was formally charged with intoxication assault and remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center in under a $6,000 Bond.
In another incident on Sunday, July 17, at 6:33 am, officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Fox Borough Drive.
Investigating officers spoke with several persons involved and arrested a female who was alleged to have utilized a kitchen knife to cause several lacerations to a female victim during an argument. The female victim was provided with medical attention at the scene via Eagle Pass Fire & EMS.
Nora Sabrina Davila, 23, was arrested and formally charged before a magistrate with aggravated assault and remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center under a $7,000 bond.
